These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thewritetimeagency.com and the forms, scheduling, and communications offered through it by The Write Time Agency ("The Write Time," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
The Write Time provides ghostwriting, book coaching, editing, publishing support, author branding, and speaking and story development services. Information on this website is for general purposes and is not an offer to provide services. The scope, timeline, fees, payment schedule, ownership of work, and confidentiality for any project are set out in a separate written agreement between you and The Write Time. If that agreement and these Terms conflict, the agreement controls.
Consultations and quotes
- Consultations are booked through our online calendar, which includes our Start Your Book questions.
- Please reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation if you cannot attend.
- Quotes are personalized and are valid for the period stated in the quote. Any pay-in-full rate or other offer applies only as described in your quote or agreement.
Your content
You keep ownership of the stories, materials, and information you share with us, unless your written agreement says otherwise. By submitting content through our forms, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow us to use it to respond to you and provide services. We treat your story and materials as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Text messages and email
If you opt in, you agree to receive emails and text messages from The Write Time Agency about your inquiry, appointments, services, and, if you consented, marketing updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Referral and Ambassador Program
Participation in our Referral and Ambassador Program is by approval only and is governed by separate program terms provided to approved partners. Nothing on this website guarantees a reward or commission.
Store and author books
Products shown as "coming soon" are not yet available for purchase. Author books link to third-party retailers such as Amazon, and purchases there are governed by those retailers' terms.
Website content
The website, including The Write Time name, logos, design, text, and images, belongs to The Write Time Agency or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Book covers and author materials belong to their respective authors and are shown with permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the website, submit false information, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, or interfere with the website's operation.
No guarantees
We work hard to help every author succeed, but we cannot guarantee publication by a particular publisher, book sales, rankings, speaking engagements, or other specific results. The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Write Time Agency is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim related to the website will not exceed one hundred dollars (US $100). Liability for client services is governed by your written agreement.
Third-party links
The website links to third-party sites and services, including retailers, social media, scheduling, and payment platforms. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
